There are many characters (fictional & true-life) in TV, movies & other forms of media that are portrayed directly as being on the Autistic Spectrum. That is the list we present below. There are also characters that exhibit traits or behavior that could be associated with autism. We do not include those. The reason is that even in real life there are persons that exhibit the same traits who are diagnosed specifically outside the autistic spectrum.
It also should be noted, that this list is presented as a list. Very often the media presents autistic people incorrectly or simply get it wrong.
